Installation of SQL

Step 1 :-  Download the oracle 10g software from the link given below.

Step 2:- Extract the compressed file. 

1. click on the downloaded file.
2. Right click on the file and click on "Extract all..." option present in it.
3. Click on "Extract" button .

Step 3:- Installing the software. 

1. Open the EXTRACTED file then go to "Database" folder.

2. Right click on the "Setup" file and then click on "Properties".

3. Go to "Compatibility" option in that.

4. check the "RUN this program in compatibility mode for :" checkbox.

5. click on the dropdown list in that and select the option 

            A. for WINDOWS 7 USER -> " Windows XP(Service Pack 2)"

            B. for WINDOWS 8/10/11 USER -> " Windows XP(Service Pack 3)"

6. In the same window check on "Run As Administrator" checkbox. 

7. click on "Apply" button and then click on "OK" button.

8. Double click on the "Setup" option. 

9.Give the permission to install the software.   "Select Installation Method" window will be             displayed. 

10. Enter the name of database in the "Global Database Name" text box.(OPTIONAL)

11. Enter "TIGER" as the password in "Database Password" as well as "Confirm Password" text fields.

                                             

12. Then click on the "Next" button.  (progress bar will be displayed)  

(After that Product-Specific Prerequisite Checks Window will be displayed).

13. If a Warning is displayed saying "Some Prerequisite checks are failed..." IGNORE IT by clicking on  Yes Button.

14. Click on the  "Next"  button.

15. If "Windows Defender Firewall has blocked some features of this app " then just click on "Allow  Access" button. ("Summary" page will be displayed).

16. "Click" on the "Install" button after that. (Installation process will start after that")

("Configuration Assistant" Window will be displayed after the process is 100% completed )

17. Again click on "Allow Access " if the windows firewall is displayed. 

18. Wait until the "Clone database creating in progress" is completed

19. Click on password management

20. scroll down and unselect SCOTT and HR user.

click on ok

21.click on Exit button. 

Press yes

22. Search SQL in search bar and press right button.

        Go to file location.

23. Click on properties option.

24. select combability option

25. Login with Scott user and enter password.

26. change password. 

27.SQL installation is done.
